1. How do I post a property?
Posting a property on RealEstateinNigeria app/or website is quick, easy and completely free! Simply login or register as an agent using the app(android device) or website(laptop device) www.realestateinnigeria.net and click on the yellow "Post your property" button or use the "Add new property" in drawer menu and follow the instructions. Our team review all properties submitted to the App/or Website to ensure they are reliable and are free of offensive material. This usually takes about 1 to 5 days. Please note, in some cases, first time agents' phone numbers and emails may be verified before accounts are approved and also agents must be verified in person before they are flagged as "Verified" in the app.

2. How do I delete a property?
To delete a property, login to your account using the app(android device) or website(laptop device) www.realestateinnigeria.net and visit the "Manage properties" page!

3. How do I edit or update a property?
To edit or update a property, login to your account using the app(android device) or website(laptop device) www.realestateinnigeria.net and visit the "Manage properties" page! Please note that our team review all edited or properties submitted to the App/or Website to ensure they are reliable and are free of offensive material. This usually takes about 1 to 5 days.

4. How do I change my password?
To change your password, login to your account using the app(android device) or website(laptop device) www.realestateinnigeria.net and visit the "Change password" page! If you have forgotten your password, you can go to the log-in page and click on the "Forgot password?" link.

5. How long do property stay on RealEstateinNigeria?
Property appear for 1 year at this moment, unless you delete them.

6. I posted a property but can't find it. What happened?
To make your experience on RealEstateinNigeria secure and safe as possible, Our team review all properties submitted to the App/or Website, it can take up to 1 to 5 days before a property is published on the app. If you still can't find your property after 1 to 5 days, it may have violated our posting rules. Try posting again or contact us. Note that you can keep track of your property easily by logging in to your account using the app(android device) or website(laptop device) www.realestateinnigeria.net and visiting the "Manage properties" page, there you will see if your property is flagged Draft or Publish. So always check back.

7. Why is my property rejected?
Our team review all properties manually, if your property violates our posting rules/policies, it will be rejected. Please ensure you read our posting rules/policies very well before posting any property. In some cases, you can read what changes you have to make before the property can be approved in the rejection email.

8. What are the posting rules/policies?

Apart from the usual policies we have on the app/or website, there are quite a few more that are designed for posting a Property in any category. This app/or website is dedicated to the sale or let of properties in Nigeria.

1. Try to be as accurate as possible. There are a lot of options to choose from when posting in Property, to cater to people buying and selling, renting or letting. Also, choose the correct number of bedrooms, bathroom, garage, kitchen, etc. available in your property to avoid confusing people looking at your listing.
2. Price the Property correctly.
3. The property must be available. If it’s not available yet or it has been taken, login to your account using the app(android device) or website(laptop device) www.realestateinnigeria.net and update the property listing immediately as Sold or Rented. If it’s occupied at the moment but will be available soon, specify when it’s gonna be available.
4. Make sure you only post one property type per ad. And one ad per property type. Any duplicate ads will be deleted. If you have more than one property, post them in separate ads.
5. When posting a Property, make sure you select whether you are a private agent or a business agent.
6. Keep the your property listing clean. No phone numbers or prices in the title. There are field for that info. No website links to other accommodation websites either. You can put all the info you need to give people about the property into the  description instead of directing them to other sites.
7. Posting a property if you are not located in Nigeria is prohibited.
8. Posting a property for sale that is not located in Nigeria is prohibited.
9. Posting a property for sale that is illegal to own, rent, buy or sell in your area of residence is prohibited.
10. Posting duplicate property in multiple categories is prohibited.
11. Posting property using multiple different email addresses is prohibited.
12. Posting property that serves no other purpose other than to send traffic to a web site is prohibited.
13. Posting a property containing a list of keywords not directly related to the property being listed is prohibited.
14. Posting a property in languages other than English is prohibited.
15. Posting a property that contains adult, mature or erotic content is prohibited.
16. Posting a property in an incorrect or misleading category or with misleading information is prohibited. 
17. Posting as a Private Agent, Owner, or Individual when you are a Business, Dealer or Professional Agent is prohibited.
18. Do not Renew a property by simply editing everyday to move or bump up that property to the top of the list, instead Get Featured. Allow 7 days to elapse before editing or bumping up a property.
19. Agents can post *unlimited number of properties for free - only 1 property type per advertisement.
20. We only accept property posting from major cities and towns in Nigeria at this moment.
21. Do not post too large size images and again, we recommend that you use landscape images for all your property listings.

9. How do I register for an agent account?
Registering for an agent account on RealEstateinNigeria is quick, easy and completely free! You can go to the Login page using the app(android device) or website(laptop device) www.realestateinnigeria.net and fill out your details by clicking the "Agent Login/Registration" in drawer menu. Once you have registered, we will email your contact email address with information about your account status (Please do check your Email Spam or Inbox for Welcome/Approval messages), we may also call your contact phone number for verification. We verify all agents' contact phone numbers and emails before accounts are approved- this is the first verification. The second verification is when we verify agents in person before they are flagged as "Verified" in the app. Please note that you cannot update your account profile details once you register, you must contact us if you want to update your account profile details, so make sure  you review your registration details for correction before you submit during registration though you can view your account profile details in the My account.

10. How do I log in and log out of my account?
To log in to your account, simply go to the Log in page [using the app(android device) or website(laptop device) www.realestateinnigeria.net] by clicking "Agent Login/Registration" or clicking on the image in drawer menu and enter your User name and account password. To log out of your account, simply click the "Log out" option in drawer menu.

11. How do I change my account details?
You cannot change or update your account profile details once you register, you must contact us if you want to update your account profile details, so make sure you review your registration details for correction before you submit during registration though you can view your account profile details in the My account.

12. Why can't I log in to my account?
If you are having trouble logging in to your account, please check that you have:
>> Registered for an account and the account has been approved by us.
>> Entered the correct User name and password on the login page.
>> If you are still having trouble logging in to your account, please contact us.

13. Why do you need to verify my identity?
We verify the identity of every agent on our app/or website in person before they are flagged as "Verified". We will contact you to schedule a visit. You either visit our office at 1 Isiokpo St. Aba Rd PH to submit your identity or our team member will visit you and will request to see a valid photo ID which can be a passport, driver’s license, National ID, Voter’s ID, etc. Trust is very important, verified agents gain more trust with our app users and may have more sales than unverified agents.

14. Why am I not flagged as verified agent?
Agents must be verified in person before they are flagged as "Verified" in the app. We will contact you to schedule a visit. You either visit our office at 1 Isiokpo St. Aba Rd PH to submit your identity or our team member will visit you and will request to see a valid photo ID which can be a passport, driver’s license, National ID, Voter’s ID, etc. Note that verified agents gain more trust with our app users and may have more sales than unverified agents.

15. How do I report an an agent?
Reporting bad agents helps keep RealEstateinNigeria clean and safe for other users. To report an agent that appears to be a scam, spam or otherwise violates our policies, click the "Report" red button on the agent's contact page, fill out your details with reasons and submit. If you have been cheated, we also recommend that you contact your local police department.

16. How many properties can I post?
Agents can post *unlimited number of properties for free - only 1 property type per advertisement.

17. How often can I update or repost or bump up a property?
Renewing a property by simply editing it will move or bump up that property to the top of the list. You can renew an active property as long as 7 days have elapsed since it was initially posted, or if 7 days have elapsed since it was last renewed. You can also use our Get Featured service instead to remain at the top of every property listing daily.

18. What is Get Featured or paid content?
At the top of every property listing and agent listing pages, there are up to 2 spots reserved for Featured properties and agents. You can contact us using the "Get Featured" button in your account for a free quote if you want your property to be featured. After payment, your property will be featured for 7 days. Featured properties get up to 10 times more views. More views equals more interested buyers. With lots of interested buyers, you have a better chance of selling fast.

19. How many cities and towns do you cover in Nigeria?
We only accept property posting from major cities and towns in Nigeria at this moment. If your city and town is not yet available, use the "Unspecified" town under any city, please be patient with us as we are currently adding major cities and towns one after the other. So please do check back or contact us!

20. I see "No Data" in Safety Tips, Posting Rules, FAQ, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy
If you see "No Data" in Safety Tips, Posting Rules, FAQ, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy during app launch, just click on the refresh button at top right navigation bar.

21. What image size and what image type do you accept, landscape or portrait?
Please avoid the use of too large size images and again, we recommend that you use landscape images for all your property listings.

22. How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, simply call or contact us using our contact us page with reason(s) why we should delete your account.
